All experimental rates, except fkth (see tables) are fitted in the range t=1e7K to 1e10K. These parameterized rates can be used from hydrogen burning onwards. All fkth rates are fitted between 1e8K and 1e10K. They behave asymptotically correct down to 1e7K, i.e. charged particle rates will decrease further and neutron rates stay roughly constant. Because charged particle rates for heavy nuclei in the fkth part are negligible below 1e8K, the entire set may be safely used above 1e7K. Use the original expression from Caughlan and Fowler for <1e7K.
