One of the applied directions for the use of the isochronous cyclotron constructed in PNPI will be the production of radionuclides for medical applications. The cyclotron will accelerate H - ions up to the energy of 80 MeV with the beam intensity of 100 µA. The accelerator with such characteristics will give opportunity to produce the most of radionuclides used in medicine, industry and scientific investigations.
