Abstract. Cross sections of high energy semielastic $\gamma^*p\to f_2p$ leptoproduction of $f_2(1270)$ or $\eta(548)$ mesons as well as the $\gamma p\to f_2+M^2_D$ photoproduction at large $t$ are estimated in the framework of perturbative QCD using the hypothesis of parton-hadron duality.
