Taking into account the interface roughness of normal-metal/superconductor junction, we propose an effective Hamiltonian for the interface scattering. In the framework of Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk (BTK) model, we calculate the differential conductance of N/S junction in the presence of the interface scattering. As well, the effect of the finite lifetime of the quasi-particles due to the inelastic scattering is also addressed. Our results are in qualitative agreement with experiments. PACS: 74.80Fp; 72.10Fk
